Photoshop, infographics and pedestrian movement

Photoshop

This was my first ever attempt at using photoshop. While the outcome is definitely unsatisfactory, I had spent many hours and lots of effort into this image. Considering that it is my first try, I am very proud of myself and what I have created.

However, I agree that many improvements could have been made to make this photoshopped image much more realistic. I could and should have used a different background image, one that is brighter and of better quality. Originally, I believed that the contrast between the area in the sun and the other half in the shade would make for a great background and an interesting photoshop outcome. but now that I know better, I would definitely have used a photo with a lot more natural light.

Infographics

this took me a few days of consistent work to complete as it took me hours to individually create the little icons that represent each faculty. Many changes were made to this infographic (i saved this final version over my original copy) to make the group submission look better. Some changes made include changing the shape of the infographic (from a curved graph to a drop-down bar graph) and the overall colour scheme (from a blue and coral combination to this pastel palette).

Pedestrian Movement

I chose to do a 3d looking building and a floorplan for the other to give my image more variety in terms of the type of information conveyed. However, it seems to have made my image look messier instead...
